Abs' 28th Birthday Trip 🇸🇬
So... we are flying to Bali on the 31st to meet your friends... but we are first flying to Singapore for a weekend beforehand! Can have a few adventures round the city before the Bali madness begins! 🌴
🗺️ The Plan (the only fixed bits):
- ✈️ Fri 28 Aug: Jetstar JQ 7 — Melbourne → Singapore, departs ~12:00pm, lands at Changi ~6:00pm (7hr 50min)
- 🏝️ Mon 31 Aug: Scoot TR 282 — Singapore → Denpasar, departs 3:20pm, lands 6:05pm
- 🎈 Everything in between: completely unplanned. No schedule, no itinerary — we do whatever we fancy, whenever we fancy it.

- 🔌 A plug adapter for you — Singapore runs on glorious UK plugs, so I'm sorted. Told you ours are the best. 🇬🇧

- 🕌 Sultan Mosque — 5 min walk
- 🏊 Rooftop pool at the hotel
- 🏮 Little India — 15 min walk, or one stop on the MRT
- 🍜 Hawker centres — laksa, chicken rice, satay. Lavender Food Square is 5 min away
- ☕ Kaya toast, soft eggs and kopi for breakfast — kopitiams all round the hotel
- 🍹 Singapore Sling at the Long Bar, Raffles Hotel — 20 min walk or 10 min on the MRT
- 🌇 Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay — Supertrees light show at 7.45pm and 8.45pm, 15 min on the MRT
- 🍸 Rooftop bars overlooking Marina Bay — 15 min on the MRT
- 🏮 Chinatown — 15 min on the MRT
- 🛍️ Orchard Road for shopping — 15 min on the MRT
- 🌳 Botanic Gardens, UNESCO site — 25 min on the MRT
- 🚡 Cable car to Sentosa from Mount Faber — 25 min on the MRT
- 🦁 Night Safari and the Zoo — north of the island, 30 min in a taxi
- 🌊 Jewel waterfall at Changi — inside the airport, we go right past it
